Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Site Supervisor (Road Construction)
We're looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee daily road construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and progress.
Responsibilities:
Supervise Roadworks: Oversee labor, equipment, and materials for road construction (pavement, drainage, earthworks).
Quality & Safety: Ensure compliance with specs, safety regs, and quality standards for road construction.
Coordination: Liaise with engineers, contractors, and clients on-site.
Progress Reporting: Monitor and report project progress, issues, and solutions.
Traffic Management: Ensure road safety and traffic flow during construction.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma/Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field
2+ years of experience in road construction supervision
Knowledge of road construction methods, safety regs, and QA/QC
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Skills:
Familiar with road construction drawings and specs
Good communication and team management
Problem-solving and adaptability on-site
