Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities

  • Electrical/Fire & Gas/BMS Maintenance including Routine inspections, Preventive Maintenance, Condition Monitoring, Defect rectification, re-lamping
  • Electrical Isolations, Work Permits
  • Lead the site team consisting of Technicians and Helpers and provide assistance as required
  • Keep accurate records and produce reports
  • Required to qualify as Company Work Permit Holder / Authorization Certifications (as applicable) and responsible as Work Permit Holder.
  • Electrical / HVAC Technicians shall be required to qualify and responsible as Authorized Electrical Isolator/personnel.

Desired Candidate Profile

Position:

- Technicians (Electrical/Fire & Gas/BMS/Electrician/ Roller Shutter, Vehicle access control, gates technician)

Purpose of Job:

- To carry out Maintenance and modification to Building Electrical/Fire & Gas/BMS // Roller Shutter, Vehicle access control, gates systems and Co-ordinate with Company Engineers on work related matters

Knowledge and skills:

  • Shall possess Technical Trade Certificate in Electrical/Electronics/Fire & Gas/BMS technology from a recognized institution. (Company will independently verify the authenticity of the certificate and institution)
  • Extensive and thorough knowledge in Low voltage electrical installation and maintenance
  • Working knowledge in various lighting installations, lamps and control gear /Fire & Gas /BMS
  • Ability to read and comprehend electrical/Fire & Gas/BMS engineering drawings
  • Ability to understand and follow Company Electrical safety rules and procedures
  • Ability to recognize and diagnose the cause of failure of electrical/Fire &Gas/BMS components
  • Knowledgeable and qualified to execute electrical tag-out/lock-out procedure
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to lead the team

Experience (related to scope of works)

  • Minimum of 3 years experience, in the field of Electrical maintenance/Fire & Gas systems/BMS for technicians
  • Minimum of 5 years experience, in the field of Electrical maintenance/Fire & Gas systems/BMS for senior technicians
  • 2 yrs. experience in oil and gas Industry
