Slickline Supervisor Senergy Oilfield Soloutions

Job Purpose

Responsible to deliver high quality services to our clients. The Slickline Supervisor oversees slickline, measurement, memory gauges and Digital Slickline operations to ensure efficient and safe execution of well intervention activities. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, as the supervisor is responsible for managing a team of slickline operators and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve operational goals. The Slickline Supervisor must ensure that all operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards while optimizing performance and minimizing downtime. The Slickline Supervisor is in charge of their operating cell and is responsible for the training and development of personnel assigned to their cell and for the maintenance status of their assigned equipment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities-

Operational Leadership

• Supervise and execute slickline, measurement operations including memory gauges and Digital Slickline operations

• Control quality of service during all phases of the operation as per SOP and HSE procedures

• Review well programs, prepare job plans, and communicate operational steps to the crew

• Lead pre-job meetings, risk assessments, JSAs, and toolbox talks ensuring HSE compliance

• Ensure accurate and timely communication with clients and management

• Perform reporting and administrative duties (reports, tool logs, wire records)

• Monitor line tension, depth, and tool performance

• Lead and execute Slickline operations including:

  • Running/pulling Slickline and Digital Slickline

  • Setting/pulling plugs and flow-control devices

  • Fishing operations

  • Dump bailer work

  • Shifting operations

  • Memory gauges and basic logging tasks

• Be available 24/7 for operational and emergency requirements

• Ensure maintenance systems are applied to tools and equipment

• Maintain updated equipment status in internal systems

• Ensure availability of supplies at the wellsite

• Achieve yearly KPIs

• Perform additional duties as assigned

People Management

• Supervise slickline operators and assistants

• Manage, mentor, and train the team

• Ensure competency and proper task allocation

• Assess performance and provide training

• Support employee development programs

• Communicate performance feedback to management

Safety and Compliance

• Promote safety culture and HSE awareness

• Enforce company and client HSE policies

• Conduct hazard identification and corrective actions

• Ensure journey management for mobilization

• Support HSE&Q risk minimization

• Maintain safe and clean work environment

• Ensure confidentiality of company/client information

• Ensure valid HSE and driving certifications

Service Quality & Reporting

• Deliver high-quality services as per standards

• Prepare job reports, risk assessments, and post-job analysis

• Communicate job progress and results to clients and management

• Prepare and present service quality reports

• Handle incident reporting with proper documentation

Equipment and Tools Management

• Ensure inspection and maintenance of slickline units and tools

• Manage equipment readiness and inventory

• Conduct pre-job maintenance and testing

• Ensure wire testing as per SOP

• Troubleshoot equipment issues to reduce NPT

Client Management

• Act as the primary contact for clients during operations

• Ensure client expectations are met

• Support job planning and scheduling

Communications and Working Relations

• Clients at wellsite

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Preferred: High School/Diploma in relevant engineering discipline with 8+ years of Slickline experience

• Minimum Experience:

  • University: 4+ years

  • Diploma (2 years): 6+ years

  • Secondary: 8+ years

• Proficient in slickline operations and equipment management

• Valid Light Driving License
