Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Smart Automation System Technician with experience in electrical and lighting systems. The candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining smart automation solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of electrical wiring, smart lighting systems, automation controls, low-voltage systems, and integration of smart devices.
Key Responsibilities
Install and configure smart automation systems including lighting control, sensors, smart switches, dimmers, and automation panels.
Perform electrical wiring, cable routing, conduit installation, and termination works.
Install and maintain indoor and outdoor lighting systems.
Troubleshoot electrical faults, automation issues, and communication network problems.
Configure smart home/building systems such as lighting automation, motion sensors, timers, and remote-control systems.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and automation schematics.
Test systems and ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and project teams during installation and commissioning.
Perform preventive maintenance and service support for installed systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and company procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical and smart automation systems.
Knowledge of smart lighting systems, automation controls, and low-voltage installations.
Familiarity with systems such as KNX, DALI, Zigbee, Wi-Fi automation, or similar platforms is an advantage.
Ability to use electrical testing tools and troubleshooting equipment.
Good understanding of electrical safety standards and site practices.
