Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Flight Safety function, the SMS/SGS (Safety Management System) Referent is responsible for conducting investigations related to safety events within the MRO. They actively contribute to identifying root causes and deploying corrective actions, in close collaboration with operational teams.
Main responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations following security events (incidents, deviations, technical events)
- Collect, analyze and consolidate event-related data
- Identify the root causes using appropriate analysis methods (5 Whys, fault tree analysis, etc.)
- Propose relevant corrective and preventive actions
- To monitor the implementation and effectiveness of actions
- Participate in promoting a safety culture within operational teams.
- Provide regular reporting to the SMS manager.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of investigation processes
Desired Candidate Profile
- Formation Bac+5
- Training or professional experience in aeronautical engine maintenance is highly desirable
- Good knowledge of MRO environments and maintenance processes
- Analytical skills and rigor in data processing
- Ability to interact with rational operational field teams
- Good written and oral communication skills in French and English
