Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of completed construction projects to identify defects, non-compliance with specifications, and potential safety hazards.
  • Prepare detailed snagging reports, including photographic evidence and precise descriptions of identified issues, ensuring clarity and accuracy for rectification.
  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to facilitate the prompt resolution of snagging items, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor the progress of snagging rectification works, verifying that repairs are completed to the required standards and within agreed timelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in construction principles.
  • Holds relevant certifications, such as a Site Management Safety Certificate or equivalent, demonstrating commitment to safety.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with a focus on quality control and defect identification, showcasing practical expertise.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes, ensuring a comprehensive technical skillset.
