Role Overview

• Develop and review detailed mechanical designs and specifications to ensure they meet project and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.
• Collaborate with architects, structural and electrical engineers.
• Verify system functionality to ensure assignment readiness.
• Monitor installations for adherence to approved designs, safety, and environmental standards.
• Contribute to efficient budget planning and cost-effective delivery of mechanical works.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering; a master s degree would be welcomed.
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in mechanical engineering, with a particular emphasis on construction projects, including high-rise buildings.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licence or equivalent certifications are desirable.

Skills:

• Demonstrate experience in high-rise building projects within the GCC region.
• Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and installation techniques in construction.
• Familiar with project management tools and methodologies.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Highly organised.
• Advanced English language proficiency in both verbal and written forms.
