Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct HSE inspections and follow up on non-conformance and corrective actions, in order to identify areas of improvement and best practices.
Participate actively in the investigation of accidents, in order to contribute with procedures aimed at protecting workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
Report progress against investigation findings and the corrective actions, mitigations taken and course correction actions in order to avoid recurrence of the incidents.
Attend daily, weekly, and monthly HSE departmental meetings and provide HSE updates of the regional activities.
Coordinate mock drills as per Majis standards.
Conduct Audits and prepare monthly PTW Audit analysis report.
Organize HSE mandatory training for regional staff and maintain the update of training matrix.
Facilitate HSE Campaigns within the region.
Ensure all NM, incidents and accidents are reported as per Majis incident reporting process flow.
Participate in reporting safety observations and encourage all employees to report safety observations.
Maintain records of safety inspection and checklists.
Provide recommendations & advice for corrective action as per Majis procedures and/ or HSE related international standards.
Influence on HSE culture by spreading awareness, education to the staff on the best practice.
Gather feedback from Majis standards of HSE from an implementation perspective and make necessary changes to prescribed procedures as requisite.
Maintain inventory records of waste.
Support the environment team by conducting noise monitoring, thermal work limit measurement as and when required.
Prepare HSE Statistics reports, including weekly/ monthly reports and data analysis trends of the respective region.
Implement solutions that educate and encourage internal and external stakeholders to become more collaborative and contribute to increased productivity.
Recommend training and workshops programs for leaders and employees related to incident investigation and Case Root Cause Analysis in order to contribute with the consolidate a safety culture.
Contribute to the preparation of the HSE budget in alignment with the respective department business plan.
Monitors the day-to-day operations in order to ensure that best practices and recommendations from investigation reports are in place
Assists with internal and external HSE audits by resolving basic issues identified in audits.
Support the development and implementation of departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls, and continuously identify and recommend improvements while ensuring compliance with HSSE guidelines, standards, and relevant legislation.
Participate in daily operations meetings and provide HSE support and requirements of all related activities.
Support and assist in ISO9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015 &ISO 45001:2018.
Contribute and support in Grean House Gases and Environmental, Social, and Governance ESG reporting and data preparation.

Purpose :
Performs and develop the process for inspection of all Health, Safety and Environmental incidents/complaints at Majis under Lead HSE scope, acting as team player & owner of HSE operation processes /standards by: (1) Monitoring regional staff complaints related to HSE, (2) Perform site visits and conduct HSE inspections and follow up on non-conformance and corrective actions, (3) Assist HSE lead in Performance & Planning & conducting HSE audits and inspection, (4) Conduct monthly HSE meetings and monitoring projects, (5) Maintain inventory records of wastes, (6) prepare PTW Audit Analysis report, (7) Organize HSE mandatory training for regional staff response to any incident/accident; in order to identify areas of improvement and corrective actions to contribute with the continuous improvement of HSSE performance. (7) Prepare weekly/ monthly HSE reports and submit them as per the provided timeline; in order to contribute with zero harm to people, assets, and environment, comply with regulations, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
