Snr Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and critically review detailed structural designs and specifications.
• Conduct rigorous structural calculations to ensure compliance, safety and stability.
• Use advanced structural analysis software to model and simulate behaviour under various load conditions.
• Collaborate closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams.
• Perform site inspections to verify compliance with approved structural designs, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates and budgets for structural components.

Applicant Requirements

Qualifications

• A bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required; possession of a master s degree will be regarded favourably.
• Eight to ten years experience in structural engineering, particularly with complex construction projects, including high-rise buildings within the Gulf countries.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification would be welcomed.
• Technical Skills
• Expertise in structural design software, e.g. STAAD. Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or Tekla Structures is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction materials, structural systems, and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with project management platforms and practical knowledge of construction site procedures.
