Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Plan Development: Craft and execute social media plans that align with business objectives and enhance brand visibility.
- Social Media Management: Oversee daily operations of social media accounts, including content scheduling, posting, and community engagement.
- Content Creation: Utilize video and visual editing software to produce compelling multimedia content.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance, analyze metrics, and generate insightful reports to inform strategy adjustments.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with social media trends and emerging platforms to keep content fresh and innovative.
- Crisis Management: Respond to social media inquiries courteously and manage online reputation effectively.
- Reputation Management: Implement strategies to manage and enhance the company's reputation through social media channels.
- Employer Branding & Engagement: Promote employer branding and people engagement activities to attract and retain talent.
- Ad Hoc Support: Provide support for additional tasks as required by the manager or based on business needs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Software Skills: Basic proficiency in video and visual editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, or Canva.
- Communication: Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret social media metrics and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Creativity: Innovative thinker with a demonstrated track record in liaising with internal/external stakeholders to create engaging social media content. Has demonstrated the ability to leverage and elevate the brand.
Desired Candidate Profile
We are seeking a skilled Social Media Executive with 3 to 5 years of experience to manage and enhance our social media presence. The ideal candidate will have the experince of creating monthly and annual content for social media, understands the Social media matrics, ideas and plans to increase engagement. This role demands a proactive and innovative professional with the ability to manage multiple social media channels and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
