Job Description

A Social Media Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing a brand's visibility and engagement across different social media platforms. This professional is responsible for creating, curating, and managing published content, understanding trends, and implementing social media strategies to foster growth and engagement in target markets. The Social Media Specialist works closely with marketing teams and other departments to align the social media strategy with broader corporate goals.


Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to align with business goals.
  • Create engaging, creative, and high-quality content for various social media channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and design teams to ensure a consistent brand voice.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to guide future content decisions and strategies.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and content plans.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments quickly.
  • Evaluate and improve existing social media campaigns for increased effectiveness.
  • Identify target audiences and creatively devise strategies that engage and retain them.
  • Coordinate with influencers and bloggers to amplify brand messages and campaigns.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing performance metrics for social media activities.
  • Manage social media advertising, from budgeting to execution and evaluation of ads.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
  • Expertise in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on engaging content creation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret social media performance data.
  • Experience with social media management and analytic tools is highly desirable.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to propose innovative and engaging ideas.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
