Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons tailored to the UAE national curriculum, fostering critical thinking and historical understanding.
  • Create a culturally sensitive and inclusive classroom environment, leveraging Arabic language proficiency to connect with students and their heritage.
  • Assess student learning through diverse methods, including project-based assignments and formative assessments, to gauge comprehension of complex concepts.
  • Integrate technology and multimedia resources to enhance lessons, incorporating interactive tools and digital platforms to bring history to life.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, History, or a related field is required to establish a strong foundational knowledge base.

  • Possession of a valid teaching license or certification from the UAE Ministry of Education is mandatory for eligibility.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Social Studies within the UAE educational system is highly preferred.

  • UAE National female candidates are preferred to align with cultural sensitivities and educational requirements.

  • Knowledge of the American curriculum is an advantage.

  • Strong communication and a classroom.

  • A teaching diploma.

  • UAE Equivalency.
