The Soft Landscape Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions for soft landscaping works including planting, turfing, soil preparation, irrigation coordination, and maintenance periods. The role supports competitive bidding and cost control for landscape projects..

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for soft landscape works.
• Perform quantity take-offs from landscape drawings and specifications.
• Estimate costs for plants, trees, shrubs, turf, soil, mulch, fertilizers, and related materials.
• Calculate labor, equipment, transportation, planting, and maintenance costs.
• Review tender documents, specifications, and landscape schedules.
• Coordinate with nurseries and suppliers for pricing and availability.
• Support value engineering and alternative planting proposals.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and authority requirements.
• Maintain cost databases and historical pricing records.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor s Degree in Landscape Engineering or Other relevant degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience years in soft landscape estimation specifically (not hardscape only)
• Infrastructure, residential, or urban development projects
• Experience working with local authority and municipality standards
• Strong knowledge of plant species, planting methods, and landscape materials
• Ability to read landscape drawings and planting schedules
• Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools
• Good analytical, communication, and time-management skills
