Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the software development team to maintain software SAS based applications, ensuring they meet quality standards and performance benchmarks.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and clarify software requirements and contribute to the design and architecture of software solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for software projects, including technical specifications, user guides, and release notes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance engineers, to deliver software projects on time and within scope.
  • Identify and address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest software development trends and technologies related to SAS solutions: SAS VI, SAS VA, SAS DI & SAS ID.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and solid understanding of core concepts such as closures, promises, async/await, and event-driven programming.
  • Practical experience building front-end applications using Angular (v12+).
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with SAS for data analysis, reporting, or integration with backend systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of software development best practices.
  • Basic understanding of web security principles (CORS, XSS, CSRF, input validation).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, backend, product).
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies, and capable of working both independently and within a team in an agile environment.
