Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Review functional and technical specifications to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
  • Identify test requirements and translate them into detailed test cases and test coverage plans.
  • Execute software testing activities including smoke, functional, and regression testing.
  • Perform testing on mobile devices and telecom services (5G, LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi).
  • Report, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
  • Monitor defect status and follow up with development teams until resolution.
  • Support field testing activities such as drive testing, throughput testing, and intra-RAT testing.
  • Validate telecom operators network readiness prior to service launch.
  • Ensure testing activities are completed according to defined timelines and quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Fresh graduate or up to 1 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or related roles.
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to clearly document test cases, defects, and results.
  • Willingness to participate in field testing activities when required.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic knowledge of telecom technologies (5G, LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi) is a plus.
