Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
- Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using established bug tracking systems.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on web, desktop, and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed feedback to development teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and company policies throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on testing outcomes, quality metrics, and risk assessments to management.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide guidance to end-users during the release process.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and version control systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Eagerness to stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software testing.
