Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role: We are seeking a Software Tester to join our dynamic quality assurance team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will design and execute comprehensive test strategies to ensure our software products meet high standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Responsibilities: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing software features Perform manual testing across functional, regression, integration, and system levels Execute test cases, log defects, track resolutions, and perform retesting Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues Maintain and update test documentation, test data, and traceability matrices Analyze test results and produce clear reports on test coverage, defect metrics, and overall software quality Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective Assist in the evaluation and adoption of new testing tools and methodologies Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 0–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and best practices Strong programming knowledge in C++, Java, C, and Python Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries in MySQL Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest) Knowledge of performance testing and related tools (e.g., JMeter) ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines Strong teamwork, collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to quality improvement.............
