Software Tester TASC Outsourcing

About the Role: We are looking for a motivated Software Tester to join our Bangalore team. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, executing, and maintaining test cases across manual and automated frameworks. You will collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to identify defects early, improve test processes, and deliver high-quality releases. Responsibilities: Design, write, and execute manual test cases based on requirements and user stories Develop and maintain automated test scripts using C++, Java, Python or C as needed Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing Log, track, and report defects using defect tracking tools Collaborate with development, product, and support teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans and test reports Analyze test results and prepare clear test summary reports for stakeholders Participate in sprint planning and provide test estimates and risk assessments Required Qualifications: 0–5 years of software testing or quality assurance experience Strong manual testing skills with attention to detail Proficiency in at least two programming languages from C++, Java, C or Python for writing test harnesses Experience with MySQL for test data setup and validation Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies Experience using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, PyTest) Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) ISTQB Foundation Level certification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
