Software Tester TASC Outsourcing

About the Role: As a Software Tester based in Bangalore, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design test cases, execute manual and automated tests, identify defects, and support continuous improvement of our development lifecycle. This role is ideal for candidates with 0-5 years of experience in software testing and strong proficiency in C++, Java, C, Python, and MySQL. Responsibilities: Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for new and existing features, focusing on both manual and automated testing Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to identify and report software defects Collaborate with developers and product managers to reproduce issues and suggest solutions Write and maintain test scripts in C++, Java, C, and Python as needed Use SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform backend testing in MySQL Document test results, track defects in bug tracking tools, and ensure timely closure of issues Participate in test strategy and process improvement initiatives Required Qualifications: 0-5 years of experience in software testing or related role Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies and tools Hands-on experience with C++, Java, C, and Python for test scripting Experience with MySQL database and ability to write SQL queries Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and defect-tracking tools Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins) Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA) Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
