Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents to define clear testing scope.
  • Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts in line with project timelines.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to understand UAE-specific workflows, business rules, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct manual testing for web, mobile, and internal systems.
  • Perform functional, regression, system, integration, and UAT support testing.
  • Execute API tests through Postman or similar tools.
  • Validate application performance and compatibility in UAE operational environments.
  • Record and track defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or other test management tools.
  • Work closely with developers and business teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues.
  • Participate in defect triage meetings and provide detailed, actionable defect reports.
  • Support UAT cycles with business teams and end-users in UAE offices.
  • Ensure software releases comply with internal quality standards and project SLAs.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain updated test documentation, test evidence, and QA reports.
  • Prepare daily/weekly testing status reports for management.
  • Ensure proper documentation as per UAE organizational audit requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Automation testing experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in UAE-based organizations is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in web and/or mobile application testing.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with SQL for data verification.
  • API testing experience with Postman, Swagger.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in fast-paced UAE work environments.
  • Strong understanding of data confidentiality and security.
  • Basic knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
  • Knowledge of UAE digital transformation standards (optional).
