Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
What You ll Do:
- Test Planning & Design: Collaborate with development and product teams to create comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
- Bug Tracking & Reporting: Identify, document, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
- API Testing: Perform detailed API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools to validate backend logic and integrations.
- Regression Testing: Validate that new code changes don t impact existing functionality through structured regression testing cycles.
- Performance Testing: Design and execute performance tests using tools like JMeter, analyzing results to uncover bottlenecks and optimize performance.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with developers, designers, product managers, and QA peers to enhance product quality and ensure efficient workflows.
- AI Integration: Leverage AI-driven testing tools to increase coverage, streamline test execution, and gain deeper insights into product quality.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in both manual and automated testing.
Desired Candidate Profile
What You ll Bring:
- Experience: 3+ years in software testing (web and mobile applications).
- Core Skills: Strong background in functional testing, API testing, and bug reporting.
- Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or similar frameworks is a plus.
- Database Testing: Working knowledge of SQL and database validation is an advantage.
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and critical thinking abilities.
- Attention to Detail: Proven ability to catch subtle issues in complex systems.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Spirit: Collaborative and proactive approach when working with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification: ISTQB Foundation Level is a plus.
