Roles & Responsibilities

Join a leading hospitality company in Dubai renowned for its portfolio of high-end, award-winning venues. This six-month seasonal position offers the opportunity to work with world-class wine programs and deliver exceptional service in some of the city s most respected restaurants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of wine service and cellar management in line with brand standards.
  • Advise guests on wine selections to complement menu offerings and personal preferences.
  • Conduct daily wine briefings and training sessions for service staff.
  • Maintain accurate stock control, inventory, and supplier records.
  • Support wine pairing initiatives and contribute to seasonal menu development.
  • Ensure storage, rotation, and presentation of all wines meet venue standards.
  • Deliver service with professionalism and in-depth product knowledge.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate Profile

  • 2 4 years experience as a Sommelier in fine dining or luxury hospitality venues.
  • WSET certification (minimum Level 2) required.
  • Fluent English essential; additional European language an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with guest-facing confidence.
  • Deep understanding of wine regions, varietals, and food pairing principles.
  • Presentable and professional appearance.
