Position Overview:

The Sourcing Specialist will work to fulfill RFQs by identifying, onboarding, and engaging providers who can supply the requested products. The role involves managing relationships with existing providers, accelerating their activity on the platform, and ensuring high response rates to RFQs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review RFQs submitted by buyers and identify product requirements.

• Research and identify providers who sell the requested products, both on and off the platform.

• Onboard new providers by presenting the platform benefits and assisting them with the registration process.

• Encourage and support existing providers to respond to RFQs and list their product catalogs on the platform.

• Match RFQs with suitable providers and facilitate communication between buyers and suppliers.

• Collaborate with the activation and sales teams to ensure smooth onboarding and engagement of providers.

• Monitor provider activity and address any issues preventing them from responding to RFQs.

• Build and maintain a comprehensive database of suppliers and their product offerings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier engagement.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to research and identify potential suppliers in various industries.

• Familiarity with procurement platforms and RFQ processes.

• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple RFQs and provider relationships simultaneously.

KPIs:

• Number of new providers onboarded monthly.

• Percentage of RFQs successfully matched with providers.

• Provider response rate to RFQs.

• Time taken to fulfill RFQs.
