Roles & Responsibilities


Job Description:

  • Supervise specific sections and assist the Chef de Cuisine

  • Maintain production schedules and hygiene logs

  • Train junior chefs and kitchen assistants

  • Manage food cost, portion control, and minimize wastage


Experience Requirements:

Contract Duration: 2-year renewable
Location: Muscat or Salalah
Experience: 5+ years total, 1+ year as Sous Chef
Salary: 280 OMR basic + benefits
Vacation: 30 days annually
Education: Culinary diploma; HACCP Level 3
Languages: Good English, Arabic is a plus
Key Competencies: Section management, multitasking, compliance, mentoring, problem-solving
