Roles & Responsibilities
As a Spa Receptionist, you'll play a vital role in the smooth operation of our spa. Serving as the first point of contact for our guests, you'll have the opportunity to create a lasting impression with your warmth and professionalism. Your responsibilities will involve greeting and checking in guests, answering inquiries about services, and managing appointment schedules. You will also handle payments and maintain a serene and welcoming environment. As the liaison between clients and spa therapists, you ensure all communications are efficient and respectful. This role requires an individual with excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly upon their arrival to the spa area.
- Manage and coordinate both new and existing appointments diligently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Provide accurate information regarding spa services, treatments, and pricing.
- Facilitate guest check-in and check-out efficiently and professionally.
- Process payments using the spa s payment systems with accuracy.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area at all times.
- Liaise between spa staff and clients to ensure seamless communication.
- Assist in the promotion and sale of retail items available at the spa.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or issues calmly and efficiently.
- Ensure client records are updated and securely stored in compliance with privacy standards.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continually improve service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a reception or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of spa terminology, services, and operations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including scheduling software and POS systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, is necessary.
