Roles & Responsibilities
Job Scope:
The Spa Receptionist is responsible for managing the spa reception area, coordinating guest appointments, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming guest experience. The role involves handling reservations, providing information about spa services, and supporting the spa team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests to the spa in a warm, professional, and friendly manner.
- Manage spa reservations and appointments through the spa booking system.
- Provide detailed information about spa treatments, services, and wellness programs.
- Assist guests in selecting appropriate spa treatments based on their needs.
- Ensure accurate scheduling of appointments to maximize therapist availability and spa revenue.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding spa services and availability.
- Coordinate with spa therapists to ensure smooth appointment flow and timely service delivery.
- Maintain accurate guest records and treatment history in the spa system.
- Handle guest payments, billing, and cash handling procedures according to company policies.
- Promote spa retail products and wellness packages to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the spa reception and waiting areas.
- Ensure spa amenities and guest areas are properly prepared and maintained.
- Assist in managing spa inventory for retail products and supplies when required.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and communicate guest feedback to the Spa Manager.
- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Support spa team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with spa policies, procedures, and hygiene standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
- Diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field preferred.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
- Ability to manage reservations and scheduling systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
