Roles & Responsibilities
Our Spa Specialists play a vital role in supporting various essential aspects of the spa. At our hotels, these employees work to create a unique and unforgettable experience – with spa services right at the heart of it. Our Spa Specialists take the initiative and deliver a wide range of services, ensuring guests enjoy their experience. Whether it's promoting spa services or retail sales, scheduling reservations and confirming appointments, answering questions about services, registering guests, or processing payments, the Spa Specialist ensures these transactions are a positive part of the guest experience.
No matter your position, there are several fundamental things that support success: creating a safe workspace; following company policies and procedures; maintaining quality standards; and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communication are professional at all times. The Spa Specialist will be constantly on the go (standing, sitting, walking for extended periods on uneven and slippery surfaces); taking an active role (must be able to move, lift, push, pull, and place objects unaided that weigh 10 pounds or less, and 25 pounds with assistance; reach above and below knees, bend, twist, pull, and squat). Performing all duties to the best of your ability (and other reasonable tasks as requested), it is critical that Spa Specialists do things right for guests and the business every time.
Desired Candidate Profile
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent certificate from a General Educational Development (GED) program.
Related work experience: No related work experience required.
Supervisory experience: No supervisory experience is required.
License or certification: None
