Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform professional spa treatments including massages, facials, body scrubs, and wellness therapies in line with Faena luxury standards

  • Assess guest needs and preferences to personalize treatments and ensure maximum comfort and satisfaction
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation within treatment rooms, equipment, and spa areas
  • Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment and ensure rooms are reset following treatments
  • Ensure proper handling, usage, and storage of spa products, oils, tools, linens, and equipment
  • Deliver exceptional guest service with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail throughout the guest journey
  • Promote wellness and relaxation while creating a calm and welcoming environment for all guests
  • Educate guests on treatment benefits, aftercare recommendations, and wellness routines
  • Support spa retail initiatives by recommending suitable spa and wellness products to guests
  • Follow all spa operational procedures, health and safety regulations, and brand standards
  • Maintain punctuality and manage treatment schedules efficiently to ensure seamless operations
  • Communicate effectively with spa reception and fellow team members regarding guest preferences, schedules, and operational updates
  • Handle guest concerns or feedback professionally and escalate when required
  • Stay updated on new wellness trends, treatment techniques, and luxury spa practices
  • Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and ongoing development programs
  • Ensure guest confidentiality and privacy are always maintained

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or certification in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Wellness Therapy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 4 years of experience as a Spa Therapist within a luxury hotel, resort, wellness retreat, or high-end spa environment.
  • Proven ability to perform a variety of treatments including massages, facials, and body therapies.
  • Additional certifications in specialized treatments such as Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Reflexology, or Lymphatic Drainage are highly desirable.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of spa hygiene, sanitation, and health & safety practices in accordance with luxury hospitality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build genuine guest connections.
  • Warm, professional, and well-groomed presentation with a passion for wellness and guest care.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required by operational needs.
  • Fluent English communication skills required; additional languages including Arabic are an advantage.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
