Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the spare parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize spare parts stock levels, minimize shortages, and reduce excess inventory.

Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the availability of genuine spare parts for all represented equipment brands.

Supervise and mentor a team of spare parts staff, providing training and guidance to enhance performance.

Monitor and analyze sales trends, inventory turnover, and customer demand to forecast future spare parts requirements.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal service teams and external customers to address parts-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all spare parts transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.

Implement and enforce safety and quality standards within the spare parts department.

Collaborate with the maintenance and after-sales service teams to support on-site repairs and urgent parts requests.

Prepare regular reports on spare parts inventory, sales, and departmental performance for management review.

Desired Candidate Profile

1-2 years of experience in spare parts management, inventory control, or a related field within the heavy equipment or automotive industry.

Proven ability to manage inventory systems and maintain accurate stock records.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Familiarity with ERP or inventory management software.

Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for process improvement.

Experience in supervising or leading a small team is preferred.

Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.

Flexibility to respond to urgent requests and support after-hours operations when needed.
