Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the spare parts store, including receiving, issuing, storing, and controlling spare parts.

  • Manage spare parts requirements for heavy trucks, plant machinery, and waste management equipment such as RCVs, skip loaders, compactors, wheel loaders, and forklifts.

  • Identify and verify major components related to engines, gearboxes, aggregates, and other mechanical parts.

  • Ensure proper inward process, stock updates, GRN preparation, MSL monitoring, and inventory records.

  • Maintain accurate stock levels and implement effective stock control measures to avoid shortages, excess stock, and operational delays.

  • Coordinate with workshop, maintenance, operations, and procurement teams for timely availability of required parts.

  • Ensure correct identification of genuine, OEM, and replacement parts from major manufacturers.

  • Supervise store staff, allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure smooth workflow.

  • Prepare reports, stock statements, consumption records, and other required documentation.

  • Set KPIs for store staff and monitor performance, productivity, accuracy, and stock efficiency.

  • Act as the focal point for technical clarifications related to spare parts and component identification.

  • Resolve store-related conflicts, operational issues, and parts availability concerns in a professional manner.

  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, DOT requirements, company procedures, and store safety rules.

  • Support management in reducing downtime, improving parts availability, and strengthening store control systems.


Desired Candidate Profile

Experience & Skill Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in spare parts stores, dealerships, or related spare parts operations.

  • At least 3+ years of supervisory experience in spare parts or store management.

  • Experience in heavy trucks and plant maintenance parts is required.

  • Experience in the waste management industry is preferred, especially with RCVs, skip loaders, compactors, wheel loaders, and forklifts.

  • Strong knowledge of engines, gearboxes, aggregates, mechanical components, and related spare parts.

  • Good understanding of store processes such as inward, stock control, MSL, GRN, issue records, and documentation.

  • Knowledge of genuine, OEM, and replacement parts from major manufacturers.

  • Gulf experience is mandatory.

  • Valid driving license is required.

  • Knowledge of HSE standards and DOT requirements is required.

  • Strong staff supervision and team management skills.

  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving ability.

  • Good communication skills in speaking, writing, and listening.

  • Ability to prepare reports and maintain proper documentation.

  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and support workshop/operations requirements without delay.
