Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Take part in the operational excellence of the Quality Department by joining us as a Special Process Qualification Engineer.
As a Special Process Qualification Engineer, you will join a versatile and passionate team with whom you will interact daily on the following various missions:
- Qualification of internal Special Process installations at all Safran Nacelles sites (France, UK, Morocco) and at suppliers (France and abroad).
- Contribute as a process specialist to the robustness of industrialization of special processes,
- Assess the compliance of practices with company, Safran and regulatory procedures.
Also ensure the monitoring of these installations
Actively participate in the resolution of technical crises:
- contribute to securing production (propose technical solutions to clear production, assess technical risks).
- propose curative then corrective (or corrective and preventive) technical solutions.
Represent Safran Nacelles within the Special Processes Competence Group of the SAFRAN group:
- pool qualification work among common suppliers
- contribute to the development of group procedures for special processes.
- relay our issues to benefit from the group's support, or conversely support the group.
To carry out the initial qualification of internal Special Process operators.
To coordinate and supervise the obtaining and maintenance of NADCAP accreditations within your area.
To participate in the continuous progress process.
Desired Candidate Profile
experience in the development of composite materials and surface treatments, particularly painting.
