Roles & Responsibilities
Position Overview
We are seeking a Specialist Anaesthetist to support a multidisciplinary surgical service, providing anesthesia across a wide range of procedures within a hospital setting.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia for:
- General surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, and other specialties
- Manage:
- Pre-operative assessments
- Intraoperative anesthesia care
- Post-operative recovery and pain control
- Respond to:
- Emergency surgical cases and resuscitation scenarios
Service Structure
- Operating theatre-based role
- Collaboration with:
- Surgeons and perioperative teams
- ICU and critical care departments
Additional Responsibilities
- Participation in on-call and emergency rota
- Support pain management services
- Contribute to patient safety and anesthesia protocols

Requirements
- Specialist qualification in Anaesthesia
- Experience in hospital-based anesthesia practice
- UAE licensure eligibility
