Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and implement data governance frameworks and processes for data management such as data quality, data security and data lineage;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and design data governance processes accordingly;
  • Define the main subject areas and data domains in the enterprise;
  • Introduce stakeholder driven processes with roles and responsibilities;
  • Identify and document data assets and their associated metadata, data lineage and data quality;
  • Develop, implement and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data is accurate, accessible and compliant with regulations;
  • Identify and document data risks, sensitivity levels and classifications;
  • Educate and train stakeholders on data governance to ensure compliance with related policies and procedures;
  • Create and maintain data governance documentation including data dictionaries, data models and data lineage diagrams;
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments such as compliance, IT and legal to ensure abidance to relevant regulations and laws;
  • Monitor industry developments and regulations to ensure up to date and effective data governance processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related field

Experience

At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
