Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Diagnose and manage complex endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, and hormonal imbalances, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and clinical expertise.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, encompassing medication, lifestyle modifications, and patient education, to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Interpret intricate laboratory results and imaging studies, such as MRI and CT scans, to accurately assess and monitor endocrine conditions.
  • Perform specialized procedures, including thyroid biopsies and insulin pump management, with precision and patient comfort in mind.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, dietitians, and other specialists, to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide expert consultation to other physicians on endocrine-related cases, offering specialized knowledge and guidance.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in endocrinology through continuous medical education, research, and participation in professional conferences.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their health.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines, ensuring seamless patient care continuity.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of endocrinology knowledge, if opportunities arise, showcasing a commitment to innovation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • DM Endocrinology or equivalent degree with a specialization in cardiology from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in endocrinology, with exposure to both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Flexible to work in an OPD set up. Preferably with DHA.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages preferred for diverse patient interactions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases effectively and efficiently.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay at the forefront of cardiology advancements.
