Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Data Management & Reporting:
  • Manage data across various platforms, including SAP HANA, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timeliness.
  • Prepare financial reports and dashboards, summarizing key financial metrics.
  • These reports may include budget vs. actual analysis, profitability reports, and other relevant financial data.

Analytics & Business Intelligence:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide insights.
  • Leverage data to drive strategic business decisions, and design deploy appropriate analytical solutions.
  • Query databases, conduct analyses, develop data models, and manage large data sets to generate actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting findings, and making recommendations tailored to the audiences understanding.
  • Optimize Data Workflows: Work on improving existing data pipelines and workflows, ensuring data integrity, and efficient retrieval and processing.
  • Documentation: Create detailed documentation of analysis procedures, data pipelines, and report protocols to ensure continuity and ease of reference for current and future projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

Profile Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics, with hands-on exposure to SAP HANA.
  • Strong skills in SQL and familiarity with platforms like Hive and the AWS tech stack, including AWS Athena as well as Tableau desktop.
  • Demonstrated understanding of finance principles and accounting practices.
  • Understanding of business operations and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Analytical mindset strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detail, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, platforms, and methodologies as the business and technological landscape evolves.
  • Previous experience with SAP reporting and analytics will be a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to present findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
  • Fluent in English, and fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
