Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed history taking and physical examinations, to accurately diagnose musculoskeletal, neurological, and other movement-related conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and electrotherapy.
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment plans, and self-management strategies, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery and prevent future injuries.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring optimal outcomes and adapting to each patient's unique needs and responses.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, surgeons, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Desired Candidate Profile
Has a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy, preferably with experience in a variety of settings and patient populations.
Demonstrates proficiency in manual therapy techniques, including joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and myofascial release, to effectively treat musculoskeletal conditions.
Exhibits strong knowledge of exercise prescription and therapeutic exercise principles, enabling the development of effective rehabilitation programs.
Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective patient education, collaboration, and rapport building.
Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, enabling accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
