Specialist - Neonatologist

We are seeking an additional Specialist Neonatologist to support the expansion of neonatal services within a regional hospital. This second vacancy reflects increased patient volume and NICU demand, offering an excellent opportunity to join a growing neonatal program.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for:
• Premature and low-birth-weight infants
• Neonatal respiratory distress, sepsis, and metabolic disorders
• Perform:
• Neonatal resuscitation and stabilization in delivery rooms
• Ventilation management and NICU interventions
• Participate in:
• High-risk deliveries alongside obstetric teams
• Ongoing neonatal monitoring and treatment planning

Service Structure

• NICU environment with modern neonatal equipment
• Close collaboration with:
• Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Pediatric and neonatal nursing teams
• Structured shift and on-call coverage

Additional Responsibilities

• Support development of neonatal protocols and guidelines
• Participate in audits, quality improvement, and safety initiatives
• Provide counseling and communication with families
