Roles & Responsibilities
Clinical Scope
- Management of:
- High-risk pregnancies (maternal comorbidities, fetal complications)
- Multiple pregnancies and complex obstetric cases
- Perform:
- Detailed anomaly scans
- First and second trimester screening
- Doppler studies and fetal growth monitoring
- Provide:
- Prenatal counseling for congenital anomalies
- Risk assessment and care planning
Service Structure
- Integrated within:
- Obstetrics & Gynaecology department
- Maternal-fetal medicine units
- Collaboration with:
- Neonatology
- Pediatric subspecialties
- Genetics services
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews
- Support obstetric teams in high-risk decision-making
- Contribute to development of fetal medicine services
Desired Candidate Profile
Specialist qualification in OBGYN with Fetal Medicine subspecialty training
Experience in high-risk obstetrics and advanced ultrasound
Eligibility for UAE licensure
