Specialist Ophthalmologist Al Futtaim Private Company (LLC)

As a Specialist Anterior Segment Ophthalmologist, you will: Provide comprehensive specialist-level care in Ophthalmology, with a focus on anterior segment diseases and surgery (cornea, lens, anterior chamber, iris) Diagnose and manage conditions such as cataracts, corneal disorders (keratoconus, dystrophies, infections), and anterior uveitis Perform vision testing, prescribe glasses/contact lenses, and conduct anterior segment surgeries (e.g., cataract extraction, corneal transplantation, pterygium excision, intraocular lens implantation) Manage outpatient and emergency eye clinics, including pre- and post-operative care for anterior segment procedures Prescribe and administer medications, interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., corneal topography, anterior segment OCT), and maintain accurate medical records Counsel patients on treatment options, medications, and preventive eye care Participate in clinical audits, CME, and quality improvement initiatives Engage in research and educational activities within the department Collaborate with patients, families, medical staff, and referring doctors to ensure continuity of care
