Specialist Ophthalmology

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Estimated Salary

AED 60,000 100,000/month (all-inclusive)
AED 720,000 1,200,000/year

Overview A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a Specialist Ophthalmologist to support expanding ophthalmology and eye-care services within its hospital and outpatient network.
The role offers access to modern ophthalmology equipment, procedural services, and multidisciplinary support.
Clinical Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage:
- Cataracts and glaucoma
- Retinal and corneal disorders
- Refractive and general ophthalmic conditions
- Diabetic eye disease
Perform:
- Cataract surgery and ophthalmic procedures
- Laser and diagnostic eye procedures
- Outpatient ophthalmology consultations
Support multidisciplinary diabetic and chronic disease programs

Requirements

Specialist qualification in Ophthalmology
Surgical ophthalmology exposure preferred
DOH eligibility or UAE licensing preferred
Strong procedural and patient communication skills required
