Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Position Overview

  • Management of:
    • Acute fractures and trauma cases
    • Degenerative joint conditions
    • Sports injuries and musculoskeletal disorders
  • Perform procedures such as:
    • Fracture fixation
    • Arthroscopy (knee, shoulder)
    • Minor to intermediate orthopedic surgeries
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care

Service Structure

  • Work within a multidisciplinary surgical team, including physiotherapy and rehabilitation
  • Collaboration with emergency department for trauma cases
  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-call rota (where applicable)
  • Maintain clinical documentation and quality standards
  • Contribute to audits and service improvement

Desired Candidate Profile

Recognized Specialist qualification in Orthopaedics

Eligibility for DOH license

Experience in hospital-based orthopedic practice
