Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic and hand conditions, from fractures and sprains to complex reconstructive surgeries, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
  • Perform intricate hand surgeries, including microsurgery, to restore function and alleviate pain, utilizing advanced techniques and technology.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, considering patient preferences, medical history, and the latest evidence-based practices.
  • Stay current with advancements in orthopedic and hand surgery through continuous learning, attending conferences, and participating in research.
  • Manage both operative and non-operative treatments, including casting, splinting, physical therapy, and medication management.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care, fostering informed decision-making.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, adhering to all regulatory and ethical guidelines, ensuring data integrity.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Orthopedics with specialization in Hand surgery.
  • Preferably with DHA eligibility
  • Flexible to work in OPD set up with hospital attachment for surgeries.
  • Minimum of 3-7 years of post-residency experience in orthopedic surgery, with a focus on hand surgery, demonstrating clinical proficiency.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to continuous professional development, staying abreast of the latest advancements and techniques.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Displays compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care, prioritizing the well-being of each individual.
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in medical record-keeping and documentation, ensuring accurate and complete patient information.
  • Exhibits strong surgical skills and dexterity, capable of performing complex procedures with precision and efficiency.
