Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager to manage and optimize the distribution of our hotel inventory across various online platforms, including B2B distributors, OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and other third-party distribution channels. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and analytical skills to ensure efficient integration, accuracy in data distribution, and optimal performance of our distribution systems. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot connectivity issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and continuously improve our distribution processes.

Responsibilities:

  • API Integration & Connectivity: Ensure smooth technical integration of our distribution channels, including APIs, with OTAs, metasearch engines, and GDS platforms.
  • Data Accuracy: Monitor and maintain the accuracy of room availability, pricing, and booking information across all distribution channels.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API connectivity, booking discrepancies, and data synchronization.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze the performance of distribution channels, identifying opportunities for technical improvements and optimization.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain efficiency in distribution.
  • Configuration Management: Manage and configure rate plans, availability rules, and distribution settings in line with company policies.
  • Optimization: Continuously optimize distribution connections, ensuring seamless operations and enhanced booking efficiency.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation for API connections, configurations, and distribution workflows. Provide regular performance reports.

Profile requirements:

  • Strong experience with APIs, XML/JSON data feeds, kibana/grafana logs and system integration.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with hotel distribution systems and online booking platforms (OTAs, GDS).
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in system optimization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
