Roles & Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Interpret and report:
    • Mammography and breast ultrasound
    • Breast MRI and advanced breast imaging studies
    • Pelvic and OB-GYN ultrasound imaging
    • General radiology investigations including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray
  • Support:
    • Breast cancer screening and diagnostic programs
    • Women s health and gynecology clinics
  • Participate in:
    • Multidisciplinary breast and women s health discussions
    • Diagnostic planning and patient management pathways

Women s Imaging & Breast Diagnostics Focus Candidates with strong experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:

  • Breast imaging and diagnostics
  • Mammography reporting
  • Female pelvic imaging
  • Obstetric and gynecological ultrasound
  • Women s health-focused radiology services

Service Structure

  • Modern hospital-based radiology department
  • Access to advanced imaging technology and PACS systems
  • High-volume private healthcare environment
  • Collaboration with:
    • Obstetrics & Gynaecology
    • Breast Surgery
    • Oncology
    • Internal Medicine and Primary Care teams

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain excellent reporting accuracy and turnaround times
  • Deliver compassionate and patient-focused communication
  • Participate in departmental quality assurance and governance initiatives
  • Support workflow efficiency within a busy multidisciplinary radiology service

Desired Candidate Profile

MBBS with MD/DNB in Radiology or equivalent recognized qualification

Minimum 4+ years post-specialist experience preferred

DHA License or Eligibility required

Strong experience in:

  • Breast imaging
  • Women s health radiology
  • OB-GYN imaging

Arabic-speaking female candidates highly preferred

UAE experience advantageous but not mandatory

Ability to work effectively within high-volume private healthcare settings
