Accountabilities:

Product Development

• Lead and contribute to the technical development of polymer products, working closely with R&D teams to innovate and enhance product offerings.

• This involves conducting research, designing experiments, and testing new formulations or technologies to improve product performance and meet customer needs.

Technical Support

• Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders regarding polymer products.

• Address technical inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and product success in the market.

Market Research and Analysis

• Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities related to polymer products.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and strategic positioning.

Product Positioning and Messaging

• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop product positioning strategies and messaging that effectively communicate the value proposition of polymer products to target audiences.

• Ensure alignment between technical capabilities and marketing messaging to drive product adoption and sales.

Training and Education

• Develop training materials and conduct technical training sessions for sales teams, distributors, and customers to enhance product knowledge and support effective selling efforts.

• Provide technical guidance and expertise to internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance

• Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that polymer products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements in relevant markets.

• Participate in regulatory compliance efforts, including product testing, documentation, and certification processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, operations, and quality assurance, to support product development initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Communicate technical requirements, project updates, and resource needs to stakeholders as appropriate.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost optimization, and process efficiency within the technical development process.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices to drive innovation and enhance product competitiveness in the market.

Project Management

• Manage technical development projects for polymer products, including setting project timelines, coordinating activities, and tracking progress against milestones.

• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Customer Engagement and Feedback

• Engage with customers to gather feedback on polymer products, understand their needs and preferences, and identify opportunities for product enhancement or new product development.

• Use customer insights to inform product roadmap decisions and prioritize development efforts.
