Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE:
Lead Gathern s sponsorship strategy by identifying, negotiating, and managing sponsorship opportunities that drive revenue, elevate brand positioning, and create unique customer experiences. Build relationships with corporate sponsors, government entities, and tourism stakeholders to unlock new streams of value for Gathern while ensuring partnerships deliver measurable ROI.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sponsorship Strategy & Development:
- Define and execute Gathern s sponsorship strategy across events, campaigns, and experiences.
- Identify sponsorship opportunities with high potential for revenue and brand impact.
- Package Gathern s assets (campaigns, events, platforms, customer touchpoints) into compelling sponsorship offerings
Negotiation & Deal Management:
- Lead negotiations with potential sponsors, ensuring deals maximize revenue and brand alignment.
- Structure sponsorship packages (naming rights, co-branding, activations, digital integrations).
- Secure long-term sponsorship commitments with recurring value.
Execution & Activation:
- Oversee delivery of sponsorship commitments, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Events, and Operations teams to activate sponsorships seamlessly.
- Monitor sponsorship visibility, customer engagement, and overall impact.
Performance & Reporting:
- Track sponsorship revenues, activation performance, and ROI.
- Deliver post-campaign sponsorship reports to stakeholders with insights and recommendations.
- Optimize sponsorship models and refine offerings based on performance data.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, government bodies, and corporate partners.
- Act as the main point of contact for sponsorship discussions.
- Ensure sponsors perceive Gathern as a high-value partner in Saudi Arabia s evolving tourism and experience ecosystem.

- Commercial Drive: Strong ability to secure sponsorship deals and deliver revenue results.
- Strategic Thinking: Can align sponsorship opportunities with business and brand goals.
- Negotiation Skills: Skilled in structuring win-win deals with high-level stakeholders.
- Execution Excellence: Ensures activations are seamless and impactful.
- Relationship Building: Maintains trust-based, long-term sponsor relationships.
Desired Candidate Profile
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- 4 6 years of experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, or commercial development.
- Proven success securing large-scale sponsorships in travel, events, sports, entertainment, or lifestyle industries.
- Strong understanding of Saudi markets, especially Vision 2030 tourism initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in sponsorship ROI measurement.
- Ability to package and present sponsorship assets compellingly.
