Role Summary:
Are you passionate about sport and skilled in storytelling? Do you have a knack for capturing the excitement and drama of the game in words and video? If so, we want you to join our team as a Sports Reporter.

The successful candidate will need an in-depth knowledge of sport in the Emirates and wider region, especially Saudi and UAE football, and look to develop contacts with the leagues, associations and clubs. An ability to tell the story of the growth of the Saudi Pro League and its impact ahead of the 2034 World Cup is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cover a variety of sporting events.
• Conduct interviews with athletes, coaches, administrators and other key figures in the sports industry.
• Write engaging and informative articles, features and analysis pieces.
• Collaborate with editors, photographers and videographers to produce multimedia content.
• Stay updated on the latest developments, trends and news in the world of sport.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications or related field.
• Proven experience in sports journalism.
• Strong writing skills with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in digital media tools and platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
