About the Role:

At Saygen Genetics, we’re building a next-generation CDMO where innovation and scientific curiosity drive real impact. We’re looking for a Biacore Scientist or a junior who’s passionate about advancing biophysical characterization of monoclonal antibodies and biologics.

The ideal candidate is a senior scientist. However, we also welcome technically skilled junior candidate eager to grow into this role through mentorship and hands-on experience.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and optimize SPR assays on Biacore T200/1S+ platforms for kinetics, affinity, and epitope-binding analysis.

• Translate complex biophysical questions into robust analytical methods for mAbs and recombinant proteins.

• Collaborate across R&D, manufacturing, and client teams to support development pipelines and method transfer.

• Take ownership of instrument maintenance, data integrity, and troubleshooting with a proactive mindset.

• Prepare experimental documentation, method reports, and presentations that communicate scientific insights clearly and effectively.

• Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced lab culture that values innovation and continuous learning.

What We’re Looking For

• M Sc or Ph D in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, or a related field (B Sc with strong industry experience also considered).

• 2–5+ years of direct experience with Biacore systems (T200 or 1S+ preferred).

• Solid understanding of SPR principles and kinetic data analysis.

• Experience working with monoclonal antibodies, fusion proteins, or other complex biologics.

• A curious, self-driven mindset and the ability to work independently while collaborating creatively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Prior experience in a CDMO, CRO, or biotech R&D setting is highly valuable.
