Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Wood Spray Painter with extensive GCC experience in furniture, joinery, or wood finishing works.

The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes on wooden surfaces, ensuring excellent aesthetics and durability in line with project requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare wooden surfaces by sanding, filling, and smoothing prior to painting or polishing.
  • Apply primers, stains, lacquers, varnishes, and paints using spray equipment.
  • Mix and match wood stains and paint colors to achieve required finishes.
  • Perform polishing, coating, and finishing of furniture, cabinets, doors, and other wood products.
  • Inspect finished surfaces and carry out touch-ups to meet quality standards.
  • Maintain spray guns, compressors, and other painting tools.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of paints, thinners, and chemicals.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Coordinate with carpenters and supervisors to meet production or project deadlines.

Desired Candidate Profile

Technical certification in wood finishing or related field. (Optional)

  • Experience in interior fit-out or joinery companies.
  • Basic communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Minimum 6 years of experience in wood spray painting (GCC experience required).

  • Strong experience in furniture, joinery, or interior wood finishing.
  • Knowledge of wood coatings such as PU, NC, melamine, lacquer, and varnish.
  • Ability to match colors, stains, and textures accurately.
  • Familiarity with spray painting tools and finishing techniques.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Physically fit and able to work in workshop or site environments.
