Sr. Accountant ( Roads & Infrastructure) - 3 Months Contract ULTIMATE HUMAN RESOURCES SOLUTIONS LLC

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in roads and infrastructure projects to support financial operations on a short-term contract. The role involves managing project accounting, cost control, financial reporting, and compliance for ongoing infrastructure projects.

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements for infrastructure projects

• Ensure accurate recording of project costs, accrals, and revenue recognition

• Maintain general ledger and ensure proper account reconciliation

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Project Accounting

• Monitor project budgets, costs, and forecasts

• Track project expenditures (materials, subcontractors, labor, equipment)

• Analyze variances between budget and actuals and provide insights

• Work closely with project managers to ensure financial alignment

• 
  

Cost Control & Analysis

• Implement cost control procedures for road and infrastructure projects

• Review and validate subcontractor invoices and progress billings

• Conduct profitability analysis and margin tracking per project

  
  

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Oversee invoice processing and payment schedules

• Monitor receivables, including client billing and collections

• Ensure compliance with contract terms and payment milestones

  
  

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and company policies

• Assist with internal and external audits

• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails

  
  

ERP & Systems

• Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) for financial reporting

• Improve and streamline accounting processes where necessary

  
  

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred
